Electrical faults can be caused by many things, and left un-checked, they can develop into a real headache.

Some faults are easily resolved, others require a more in-depth approach.
Depending upon the situation and your requirements, we can approach the problem to achieve the outcome you need.

Basic examples,
Home Owner: You may have a fault where the RCD (Safety Breaker) will not turn back on, and the problem is found to be a cable fault. You will probably want the cable repaired so that everything is safe, the electric turned back on, and everything back to normal.
In this instance, we would complete the repair in its entirity to the customer's satisfaction.
Private Tenant: You may have a similar problem to the Home Owner above, but you can't contact your landlord.
You probably won't be responsible for the repairs to the property, but you just want to get the electric back on, and to know that everything is safe until you can contact your landlord to complete the repair.
In this instance, we would locate and isolate the fault, so the rest of the electrical system was safe and the electrical supply could be reinstated.
Repairing the fault would be the responsibility of the landlord.
